More square footage means a longer clean, and it is the main reason we price on your actual square footage instead of a flat rate. A 2,400 square foot house near the marina is simply a different job from a 900 square foot condo, and quoting both the same way does nobody any favors.
Being on the water has its own effects. Marina and ocean air leaves a salt film on windows, screens and lanai railings. This end of the island is sunny and dry, so fine dust settles on blinds, shelves and ceiling fans faster than you would expect. Homes here also tend to have a lot of glass, and glass is where the difference between a quick tidy and a real clean shows up.
